Brocock/BRK BRK sniper xr

The BRK Sniper XR is a solid choice. The .22 will get as much done as the .25, it’s a versatile caliber. But more importantly, less expensive to plink with…
I gravitate towards .22 as My other air rifles are in .25 … though I have a bunch of “leftover” lead in .25. Is the BRK picky on it’s pellet choice? Till what grains? (Does it like slugs also? No idea whether the barrel is choked and what twist rate it has).

Love the .22, coupled with their new BRK Mod, it’s quiet. Very sturdy, the stock has some heft to it compared to the Compatto, obviously. Mine has a great trigger. I just rarely shoot because of time and regaining some strength, offhand. You really can’t go wrong. Friends who’ve opted otherwise seem a bit envious of the sniper.

Mine have shot the JSB Exact Jumbo 18.13s best, but have been more then adequate sending CPHPs for sub 50 yard pesting. While plinking even my near misses would‘ve been kills on small pests. Do a search here on AGN and in general. You will find many who have praised the Sniper XR and BRKs… Let us know what you decide, am looking forward to your feedback on the Sniper XR platform…
