There's been a lot of threads on here praising the Brk Sniper, maybe even one written by me, but I had to write another.
We airgunners are a fickle lot, what trips our buttons one day, may hold no interest at all the next. Sometimes, like today, I get to working on an airgun that just drives me crazy. My buddy's Avenger suddenly stopped shooting fantastic and I can't find a single thing wrong with it. Sometimes you start thinking, "is it me"? Sometimes you need to walk away and clear your head and go back. BUT, sometimes, you need to pick up a "known quantity" and shoot it to get your confidence back and get your head on straight. That "known quantity" for me, is the Brk Sniper 22HR I have. I don't care what scope is on it, what ammo you tune it to, or how long it has set without being used, you can pick it up and instantly start hitting the EXACT mark it was sighted in for....EVERY TIME. I must say, of all the airguns I've owned, shot and worked on, this is one steady, reliable performer. I've had, probably four or five, Snipers in two different versions, magnum and std, and all have shot well, but this one is special, it is the most accurate airgun I believe I've ever owned (and I own some shooters, for sure) and I bought it right on here a long time ago. Whoever sold it to me, and I can't remember who it was, did me a huge favor. I've shot this gun more than any other and I know it's going to hit what I aim at. With pellets, at 100 yards, resting off the bed of my truck I can do 1-1/4" groups, not bad for me.
My one question is...why are so many in the classifieds and why don't they sell better than they do?
