BRK at IWA 2023

I would infinitely prefer to own a BRK over a Dude Dick.
LMAO, What is it with the Brit's naming things after a dick?
They eat something called " spotted dick " .. 👀
The 1st time i saw this on the international isle at my grocery store i actually took a pic of it on the shelf then went home and looked it up.. if you want a good laugh do it yourself....

My man, don't even ask me what they refer to a cigarette as.

I don’t really like this B-R-K stuff they’re doing. Your brand name is Brocock! Yes, it’s somewhat awkward and hilarious……just own it!
I feel the same, it’s juvenile of the company to shy away from the name Brocock. I don’t believe many “boys” can afford the brand. The men that can? I hope are mature enough to be, well, men. Brocock is my prefer brand through use.🤓🙀😀

Lol i wish, I'm a 40 year old man that just blew ~$5k on my first PCP. As immature as it seems, I do sympathize with the reasoning behing doing the BRK thing and it resonates with me.

It’s not immature to spend that money on what makes you happy, if you can afford it. A “cock” is a rooster. What it is in slang? Doesn’t matter but to juveniles. It’s unfortunate that Daystate is changing the name because some gents being uncomfortable and breaking into sweats. The guns speak for themselves, if they were called “mud” they would still be awesome.

This song by Alice In Chains… Rooster

oh yeah

I guess what it is that I'm attempting to convey doesn't so much have to do with reasonability as much as the juvenile attitude that myself and surely others have held onto all this time.
When I purchased my Brocock Compatto, the name wasn’t even a blip on my radar. The sheer performance of the gun was all I saw. Those hung up on names? Well they just miss out and follow the herd.

The company stuck with the name for 30 years, it was based on the English name for what you Americans call a rooster, indeed the original logo featured a Rooster/Cock and i didn’t work out the slang version myself until 10 years ago when CD Europe took over the company and we saw a huge quote for the .com! It’s more of an issue in USA than anywhere else, UK shooters have to be pointed out the funny. But if it puts people from buying the guns or it embarrass owners (which the company most definitely do not want to happen) then the option BRK is there - note that Brocock is still in the logo.
