Break barrel chassis upgrade

Helloo All,



Happy I found this forum, so we can get down to a nittty gritty question/ idea that ive held for some time in my head. Call me crazy but honestly ; I've tried the PCP style rifles and I'm just not into them. Break barrels have always been my favourite and now that we live in an age of customization, I am wanting to sink my break barrel action (Benjamin NP XL .25 caliber) into an aluminum chassis.

Hold on...I know you guys are probably thinking ok ..overkill! Hahaha...but seriously. As a premium upgrade for a break barrel, I'd love to hear people's thoughts on this.

I am currently communicating with a small company who is actually open to the idea of production for this type of accessory.

Here's a picture of a springer underlever that maybe have shades of your dream aluminum stock. Some wild ideas would be a rail system in the cavity of the alum stock to cushion recoil. Maybe modular like the FX line so you can convert easily fr tactical, field target, traditional by swapping certain parts. Please update us on your project.

i'll be real honest, it is not overkill, it is fantasy

the blue stocked rifle, I'm guessing a 97 or 200 has maybe a 500 to 1000 buck stock on it and the owner wanted to build the rifle for a purpose and had all the money in the world to do it

but go ahead I'm sure it will be a one of a kind

If this is your hobby and you enjoy it, do it! It's not overkill its entertainment. Is it practical? Probably not. Hobbies aren't meant to be practical and they don't have to be. It is what you make it.

Your idea isn't something that I desire for myself but I would sure like to see what you come up with when you do.

I mean it's your money you can do what you'd like but honestly you'd be much better off just upgrading your gun to a better gun.

Very nice rifle and stock...yet ive already discovered these and as they are very nice, a wee bit out of my $ range. My idea is similar, although nothing really like this one. Thanks for the reply and fine example.

Thanks, yea for sure a fantasy build..i suppose i just like certain type of uniformity in the aethestetic with my builds..i have a specific look i hope to acheive..

And yes, thatblue stock is pretty rad but waay over this kids price range

Sure, im open to suggestions....but honestly my idea encompasses hopefully a build thats ends up being budget friendly..im just a backyard plinker

What about building a stock out of wood? Not much of an investment other that time and some simple tools and would really make it "your" gun.

That's a nice suggestion and thank you, however my heart amd mind are kinda set on an all aluminum build if possible
