Brass FX Hammer Adjustment 'Screw'??

My Wildcat Mk1 .25 was at FX USA a couple weeks ago,on their dime, (was a spare magazine issue not gun) they wanted to inspect it anyway), I inquired about the brass HSA screws, when the gun was returned (three weeks) to my surprise there was a brass HSA on top of the original one!!! I use it as a lock down screw, super impresses with FX service, I even got a extra mag sent from Sweden!!! So they have them. FX ROCKS!!!

I ended up calling FX USA and talked with Summer, a very nice lady by the way, whom in turn sent me to the techie Brian, also a nice person. I was slightly confused from the Streamline schematic as it shows that screw as a "Anit Tamper (UK)". Brian told me that it is in fact called that for all FX airguns, but does not come in brass, only the stock, black pot metal. He said that the brass ones do not have the spring inset on the backside to prevent the spring from wandering. I ordered two of the stock black ones, one for backing up the first adjuster instead of using Loc-Tite.

If anyone knows of a brass one that will work, please lemme know.

Mike, I have one of the brass ones on my 25 WC. I'm pretty sure its the HS adjuster that comes on a 22cal WC but it does have the spring guide extension on it when you order it. The one I ordered came from FX USA (Ernest) but I chucked it up in my lathe and cut off the spring guide so that it would screw in on top of the factory black one and use it as a lock screw. They might sell you one that's already been whacked off or you might inquire about the "Brass" adjuster on a 22cal and if they have that you can cut it off yourself.

As far as one that's made of brass that you can use just for an adjuster by itself and nothing else I don't know of one. Sorry.

Thanks a bunch for the detailed information. I did not ask about a WC 22, only a Streamline 25. You would think that the techie would have said something, but didn't.

Anyway, I have 2 of the black pot metal (or aluminum?) ones coming now, but would still like to get a brass one at some point. I just might call FX back in the morning and see if I can get a techie to blab about the WC brass one and see if I can tack it onto my current order.

I will letcha know what I come up with if any different than the above.
