Stoeger Brand New .25 XM1 Bullshark Barrel Bore scoped Crap Luck Again

Received my new Bullshark yesterday. Sat down to clean it and go over it this morning and found bad tooling just inside the muzzle, last 1/4 inch.
I believe that I must have the worst luck with barrels as possible. (Still working out buying a new barrel for my big bore because I didn't get a bore scope till after warranty ran out on it.)
I won't mention where purchased yet to give them a chance to reply. But paperwork says contact Stoeger directly for warranty issues so I'll be doing that also. Guess I'm the one that gets to see how well they stand behind their 5 year warranty.
Frustrating because I've got a new toy and don't get to play with it. I haven't even put a scope on it and tried it yet. Simply not doing anything else with it till someone addresses this.
Could shoot like a laser but I doubt it since this should be the last of the choking exiting the barrel. (If they are choked, can't find info on that.) But feel this would definitely be damaging the pellet skirts upon exit and is a defect in workmanship that should be covered by warranty. (Rest of the barrel is good; maybe some polishing, but would see how it shoots first)
I do tend to panic over issues like this so feedback on what everyone else thinks would be appreciated.

Maybe try shooting it before making a decision. Don't know where we would be without all these bore scopes floating around.

Don't know why, distributors and manufacturers don't scope things before sending them out. They'll look over the outside and that it actually functions, but it's like the inside of the barrels just don't matter. Myself that the first thing I'd check during assembly or shipping to a customer.

If they did MOST would be rejected !!! Inexpensive air guns are priced how they are for a reason, mass production fast to assemble and get out the door ... a numbers game 100%

If this wasn't the only 2 airguns I've bought and both having bad barrels it wouldn't be as disgruntling. The real rubb is that even a replacement barrel could be as bad or worse.
35+ mph winds where I'm at today so couldn't shoot regardless.

Production practices, QC checks or a lack of seldom change when dealing with some factories manufacturing for different Marketing brands.
I've spent the last hour+ getting the leade straightened out / corrected on a KRAL .25 barrel

I've found tinkering and working on these guns is part of the fun. But trying to correct poor manufacturing isn't.
Can say that after getting my big bore and all it's issues I've learned a whole lot about pcp, barrels, ammo ballistics, and casting that I never would have if it had been perfect out of the box.
Still sucks having dealing with it though

There are a ton of guns out there from them that the owners didn’t take a scope to the bore and are shooting good enough. Bore scopes can make a speck of lint look like a boulder in your barrel. So a lot of times it’s not as bad as it looks when it comes to performance. Good luck getting a barrel from them that you and your scope are going to be happy with.

Just in from shooting 12 mags out a shed window. Was actually hitting a metal drive in fence post at 25ish yds some without a scope. Anyway bore scope doesn't show the bad places catching lead from that. Hopefully wind will be down tomorrow so I can actually test for accuracy or at least consistency. Got several pellets to try.
But even if it's a laser I'll probably contact them anyway just so it's on the record incase there's a future issue with it. Never hurts

Yep a barrels accuracy isn't deemed by what a bore scope shows...

This is one of my 375 CheyTac barrels at approx. 2000 rounds....looks like crap, BUT still shot 1/4 moa!!

Target is 2500yds ....shot with the "Crap" looking barrel..

Not even sure what I’m looking at. Looks like it has a 90 degree turn inside of it to me. Lol. I would just shoot it and see.

Wish my AEA crap barrel would do the same. But it so pitted that it leads up quickly and then simply don't know where it will hit the target even at 20yds.

Yep. The inside of my Taipan barrel would send a bore scoper into cardiac arrest. But I’ve never shot a more accurate or consistent .22. And it never needs cleaned.

I have a bore scope but I've only used it on my Caiman X and P35-22 so far. The Caiman X has lead deposits near the chamber but not near the muzzle. I scrubbed a lot trying to remove them and they got smaller but are still there. I shot a 197 on the 30 yard challenge with it last week. I shot a 200 with it last year. My P35-22 barrel looks great. No visible lead deposits and no issues with the rifling. Hard to believe it cost 1/3 what the Caiman cost. I've shot a couple 198s with it this year and a 200 a couple years ago.

I have 2 barrels for my P35-25, both from SPA through Krale. I bought the second and waited almost a year for it to arrive. In between I added a bigger plenum and suddenly it shoots pretty well. The new barrel likes a different pellet but shoots about the same as the original. I should look at them with the borescope sometime. I mention this because a somewhat radical change in tune (bigger plenum) made a "bad barrel" into a decent one. I think it's best 30 yard challenge is a 194. If it hadn't been so windy here today I was think of giving it another chance. I tuned it down some to shoot 25.4s instead of 34s and haven't shot that target for a score with it since the retune.

I agree the subject barrel looks bad but I'm happy you have started shooting it a little. If it shoots well, who cares what it looks like inside.

Just finished filling my tank, and mounting a scope. Looks like the wind is starting to lay down finally, so hopefully can get out tmw. Just by it's feel if it shoots constantly I'm going to enjoy it.

I enjoyed my P35-25 so much I bought my P35-22 and P35-177. I like my newer Caiman X too but I still shoot my P35s a lot. They've taken 52 of the 72 squirrels I've taken with airguns.

Spring squirrel season starts next weekend here. Hoping to get a few

Despite what ever was done to the lands just at the muzzle it shoots fine. These are all 8 shot groups.
For now looks like I'll be going with the H&N Baracuda 30.86gn, the H&N Extreme Hunter 28.24gn did almost as well. 45 yds is where everything starts opening up. Might improve if I polished the barrel, and increase the potential of the JTS Dead Centers, but not rushing that decision.
Didn't like JSB Match Deobolo Exact Kings 25.39 or Harpex Deobolo 32.4.
Well finish sighting in when wind isn't gust 10 & 15 mph. Also noticed breach o-ring is getting blow by so need to replace that, might change things a little. Couldn't crono to because of wind.
