Rumor has it these pellets have been discontinued by Crosman

Is this true or are they just in short supply?

For some reason unknown to us common folk, companies always get rid of things the customer wants most. Go figure.

And offer odd, non-domed, pellets that only shoot well in one barrel that a guy in Istanbul owns.

from what ive seen theres not much savings there anyway .. i just picked up 4 500 tins at walmart for 6 bucks a pop ... i may buy the rest of the tray if theyre still there tomorrow you better hurry lol ...

* yeah compete with jsb .. i can buy 10 thousand rounds for what youll pay for two or 3 tins of that fanboy bait lol ...

It's not "fanboy bait" as you wish to call it. Some of us who have used the tin and box varieties have noticed a marked difference between the two. If the ones' in the tins are giving shotgun groups while the boxed are giving 1 inch at 50 yards, which one do you think we would pick? All guns are different. I'm glad you are have great success with the tin version. But don't for one second tell us we are "fanboys" because we found the best pellet for "our" guns. You may be joking (doubt it) but that's an idiotic thing to say.

Its not savings that we are after, the pellets in the boxes are very consistent and accurate. The pellets in the tin are very poor in consistency. Most anyone that has ever used them, knows this well.

Before you go calling names next time, it may serve you well to make sure that you aren't completely ignorant of what you are talking about.

Yeah, it's not like any of their pellets can compete anymore. Who buys that other crap other than the unknowing...

Kirk, yeah sorry, that's a shame if they've been working well for you. I tried the heavies and the lights several times over the years and only managed one box that grouped well. I fondly remember the ones they were making back in 2012 and 2013 when I first got into airgunning. Most of the tins back then were superior to the boxed ones I got the years thereafter. I just couldn't give up on them. Crosman would put them on sale around Christmas or Amazon would have them for $20 a box and I'd order some in a moment of weakness so I'm kinda glad they won't be around to tempt me any more.

Yeah Jason,

Because I mainly shoot them in my Weihrauch Spring Airguns - they shoot great still.
