Tuning Bottle wobble when screwing onto the FX Maverick.

I was recently doing some tuning on my rifle and when i was screwing the bottle back onto the gun it started to "wobble" quite a bit.

I stopped what i was doing and put it in the gun safe and not going to mess with it until i can hopefully find out why it did that.

It seems to be the bottle not the gun. any clues as to how i should proceed?

I would back it off and check the threads over real well looking to see if they have been cross threaded or possibly cut wrong

I have depressurized the bottle, and now it screws on just fine !!

Could i have a faulty gauge and had to much air in the bottle???

This is my first bottle gun and that kinda scared me !! 

The gauge i have is a wika 315 bar, and has worked fine for several months.

most bottle guns don't like to have pressure in the bottle when screwing it on, best to depressurize the bottle first and then install it, the pressure in the bottle hampers the threads screwing on by pressure push back when the valve opens. it can put unnecessary wear on the threads of the Valve and the gun.
