Just got my first PCP, a FX Crown. I just want to know if you can lay the bottle on the front bag or lay the stock on the front bag.

It doesn't Matter...whichever way gives you the most stability...
Since there is no barrel support between the two..
Just don't rest the barrel or shroud on the bag!!!

Actually the bottle becomes a part of the Receiver...
With over 3000 psi, it is practically a support structure!!!
But I am not say You can abuse it!!

Yes, you can rest the bottle on a front bag without causing harm, changing POI, etc. (OP didn't ask about bipods)

As far as I'M concerned, suggestions are always welcomed. You never know when that suggestion works better than what you were going to do.
For now , I will be using the bags. In the future a bipod will be considered.

For Bench shooting.... There is no Right or wrong....
Here is a Benchrest Front rest and bunny ears rear bag...
Then going all out.... a Full gunrest.....
Just make sure your rifle is Rock Stable... Also you shooting position is Comfortable Too!!
