Bolt length

I have the steel breech on my 1377 but the bolt has damaged the hammer spring and I am going to replace the spring and the bolt. Does anyone know the thread length, I know it’s a 8-32. No rear sight

Common issue. I just took a file and removed about 1/8" from it. Thread a nut onto it first and it will help reshape the leading thread when you're done.

Put a small oring on top of the screw hole and try it. You may need two to take up ewnough space.
