Bolivia North Carolina

AJ, I live in Burgaw and I used to shoot with the THAGC club when the matches were held at Chris Berry's in Mount Pleasant.

Chris Corey has since taken it over and most of their matches are at the Twin cities rifle club in Pleasant Hill NC

I believe THAGC would be your closest bet.

Gerald Long handles the Field Target program at the Central Carolina Gun Club out of Burlington and they interact with THAGC on regular occasion.

And last but not least is Jody Morrison out of Mooresville NC, but he has things on hold at the moment.

All three of these clubs specialize in Field Target where you would need a .177 rifle that produces under 20 fpe so as not to damage the metal targets. You can use a .22 as long as it's under the 20 fpe limit. You're trajectory will just be a little loopier at that slow of a speed.

Now if you want to plink and shoot paper targets, metal targets and fun stuff like grapes, ice cubes, and pressurized exploding soda pop bottles, you're more than welcome to come visit my back yard range here in Burgaw. Located about 25 minutes north of Wilmington.

I highly recommend the FT clubs for beginners. I learned a lot during my four years with THAGC.

Anyway just thought I would throw that out there for ya.

Shoot me a pm if you would like to learn more.
