Bog Pod Death Grip ball head adapter

I have a bog pod death grip and today purchased a bog pod great devide ball head, thinking I could replace the death grip head on mine. It doesn’t appear to work so does anyone has suggestions on a ball head I can buy for my death grip or a new tripod to buy to fit my great devide ball head?

My first thought was, "Why buy a Death Grip if you are going to remove the Grip feature and replace it with a ball?" Yes, just buy another tripod and attach the ball to that.

I would attach the ball to a block that can be gripped by the Death Grip so you have the best of both worlds.
