Congrats to Derrick “The Wall” and Jim C, match winners! Bill B. stood uncontested in Hunter Piston but shot a great score nonetheless. We had a full day of airgunning! Two FT matches, one was TexTreme Pistol and a benchrest recreational shoot that went so well we are officially allowed 50 and 100 yd benchrest up to 100 fpe! Stay tuned for details!
HUGE thanks to Tenacious Airguns for the assistance! Derrick was gracious to help introduce larger caliber airgun benchrest to our facility president, who was so impressed with the quality and precision of modern airguns hes taking the plunge!

Thanks SqrlHntr for putting on a Great Match. I was glad to be able to shoot a few lanes post surgery. One question, what was the Troyer Scale, some of them lanes were a fer piece?

Have you guys tried out Field Target Silhouette or Benchrest Silhouette yet?

Those of us that shoot NRA Air Rifle Silhouette are working hard to expand the umbrella of Silhouette so we can get more folks to the same matches (more people = bigger sponsorships, bigger prizes).

We've had both benchrest and FT shooters participate at the Shamrock Silhouette Shootout regional match held at the Bayou Airgun Club in Baton Rouge, LA. Local clubs are testing the waters at club matches as well. We're trying to spread the word to other FT/benchrest folks so they can know about it too.

If you guys could get some of your FT/bench guys to hop on board we could potentially get a cadre of Silhouette shooters to show up to your bigger matches. There's a strong group of us shooting air rifle silhouette in the Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas region.

Lastly, there is a partnership between NASSA (North American Silhouette Shooters Association) and Pro-Air (Professional Airgun Federation) to bring air rifle silhouette to the wider airgun community. If you want to learn more about either of those organizations I can put you in contact with the right people.
