Blue Streak issues

Okay folks, I got an issue with my Blue Streak. I put about 6 pumps into it and fire the rifle. I can re cock and fire without pumping and there still is are left and the rifle. Basically, the rifle is not dumping the air each time I fire. You think this would be a hammer spring issue? Those who are familiar, please chime in. Also, who works on Sheridan Air Rifles these days?

Never shot the blue streak is it a fun pump besides the issues your having now?

Could be a hammer spring because it sounds like the valve is not opening up far enough or long enough. so maybe the hammer is not striking the valve hard enough.But that could mean that the valve spring is bad also. But somethings not going right with the valve.

Didn't AOA have some years back that operated that way ? (Custom Benjamin 392 Air Conserving Pumper (ACP) MkII )

I have one that farts if I do not cock it first before pumping.

Sometimes the innards get all gunked up, and the rubber poppet seat gets deformed. When this happens, it can't be knocked open quick enough and dump all the air.

Could be the hammer spring, but I doubt it. 

They aren't hard to work on, just need the valve tool.

Hammer spring is the most likely culprit. The trigger assemblies are very simple so do not be intimidated. Hammer spring replacement is very easy.
