Daystate Blackwolf owners discussion

I haven't made any changes yet, still working on a plan for polishing. I'm going to clean my barrel and do some testing and tuning with some JSBs today.
I cleaned my barrel yesterday with a .17cal boresnake. It was easy to take the barrel of too. Gave it some nitro solvent and pulled the snake through 5x. I found no lead residue and the barrel before cleaning looked mirror polished. If I were to say anything the barrelscrews ought to have been on the side then one don`t have to take the barrel of. If the system dhould have been perfected a sidelever latch a la Mg42 machinegun for quick barrelchange.

Did you by chance push a pellet through the barrel? This could give some indication of a defective barrel with tight or loose spots. To eliminate the loose stock why not try shooting the rifle without the stock on it?
I'm going to throw it in my gun vise and see....

I'm also curious how others' stocks are not wiggling around on the receiver. Maybe it's the cheap wood the Gray version uses?

Well. No improvement shooting from the vise without a stock. That was interesting and a first for me! Used 25g pellets from three different brands. They all fly at around 935 FPS.

Also put a mag of Hades in the last target with my Lelya 2 resting on a bag as a sanity check. Never disappoints me.

Still planning on talking with AoA tomorrow and see how we can move forward with the BW.

Best of luck, @IKnowNutin! Keep us updated.

In other news, I got some JSB Ultra Shock 25.39 hollow points in .22 to try on the rats. While getting them sighted and tuned at 20y, they were some of the most consistent pellets in my gun so far. I was "ultra shocked", you might say. I'm going to see what they do at 50y. The JSB Grand 28.55 also did well. I'm shooting both of them around 850-860 fps. I'll report back later.
