Oh well seems the ports are just too large on the blackwolf and you have to really go to the extreme to use less than max power. Not only is it expensive they made it so not as tunable as the ghost.
If you buy a non FAC barrel port, for your black wolf, which is for a sub 12 fpe gun you can probably slowly increase port size.

You mean for the black wolf ? Im shooting a ghost. They are close to the same in tuning and velocity’s. And yes if you could restrict port size a little that would be another tuning option.

This is a Blackwolf discussion thread so everything I’m referring to here is Blackwolf specific. I did start a thread called “ghost collaborative data request” a good while back.

Greetings, as of today I am the owner of a Daystate Blackwolf in 22 cal with the grey stock and the 17 inch barrel. I just mounted my Hawke scope and shot it for the first time at my house so limited to about 25 yards. With JSB 18 grain and nothing changed from the way I received it one ragged hole. Amazingly quiet with the Donny FL and power wheel at max.
I do not currently have my chronograph so will update speeds when I have it.

My first question is on what should be included with the rifle, I received the rifle and bought a second magazine as I understand it comes with only one. I thought the different hammer springs are included but none came with mine. Is this extra or included?

So I come from an Avenger to a Daystate, quite the difference in quality and feel!

Great purchase I have a BW 22 28” barrel and it came with the 3 springs I guess it doesn’t come with the 17” barrel, I bought a single sit tray with mine

For me i have absolutely no interest in an electronic gun. I’ve had 2 redwolves and will never have another. I now have 3 ghosts and love them. I haven’t shot the 22 much but found a tune for 25 gr that shot very well but am trying to find a tune now to see if i can help others to go from 18-25 gr that is useful. I personally have no intrest in 18 25 is where its at for me
@Solo1 - add your successful tunes to the “ghost collaborative data request“ thread. I’m trying to get it updated and collated

My 23" laminate came with two springs, red and blue. I requested the white spring and I was given one.
Well, seems arbitrary, another poster said the 17 does not come with extra springs. Kind of hard to understand why one would and another would not. I think I will email AOA and ask them if I should have received extra springs.
