Hey just wanted to get your opinion on the blackhound 6-24x50 ffp scope does anybody have or used one or the Aztec emerald 5.5 24 50 I really appreciate your opinions

i think the blackhund is a decent scope. reticle is a little thick for me thicker than the aztec just my opinion ffp aztec is better i liked the 3-18/50 aztec

Blackhound is a cool company and seems like good people. I do think you can get a better scope for the price though In my opinion (subjective). Riton is another cool American company that is much like Blackhound. Their Riton X3 Conqueror 6-24x50 IR FFP is one of the best scopes made in the $350 range made.
Also don’t discount Discovery. I think the VT-T 4-16x0 for $255 is fantastic scope in glass, and internals for the price. I would get this over Blackhound. However scopes are such a personal choice. I stated with Riton on a gut feeling on the company and I am happy I did. Maybe you feel that way fo Blackhound? If you do, take the leap!

I've just got the blackhound 6x24x50 ffp , have not shot with it yet. Hope to run it some this evening. It's built solid and looks good. The retical is a little thick but I won't know if that's even going to be an issue until I get a chance to shoot it. I will respond again this evening after shooting with more feedback.

Please do and thank you very much the thicker retical is one of the reasons I’m interested in I like the Aztec emerald but the retical is really thin on that one I really appreciate the responses thank you James Kiser

I have a riton 24x sfp scope on my .22 impact. Its absolutely awesome! Got it brand new from a dealer here for 180$. Glass is insanely clear! And the turrets are crisp and firm. And the reticle is very nice as well.

I have the Blackhound 6x24 FFP. I really like it. Solid scope with zero stops for the turret. In the 5 months I've used it, I found it to be a reliable scope for posting, target shooting and field target (only 1 outing). I am having a parallax wheel made for it for FT. FYI - the Orion Cam set up does not like this scope above 10 power.
