Blackhound Scopes in Stock

. . . for anyone who's been looking to pick one up. I'm (apparently) on their e-mail list and when I checked my mail a little while ago I had one from them informing me that ALL of their scopes are in stock and shipping now. I'm not nearly as experienced, savvy or learned as many in here but of the three scopes that I currently have (Aztec 3-18 sfp, an Athlon Argos BTR 6-24x50 ffp, and a Blackhound 6-24x50 ffp - the BH is hands down my favorite. The BH is on my .22 Taipan Vet Long and between that gun and that optic - it's ridiculously lethal to any critters that come within 150 yards of me . . .

Our favorite scope reviewer Cyclops Joe Rhea digs these guys and he's the reason I bought it in the first place. I just grabbed another one. It'll probably replace the Aztec.

Just a heads up if anyone looking for one - grab 'em while they got 'em.

Have the Blachound 6-24x50 FFP on my .357 Slayer and it is my favorite medium priced scope so far. Only problem I had was the magnification ring was hard to turn. Mounted on of the fishing reel tie wrap mount things to it and it is fine.

Was thinking of getting one of their low powered scopes for close range hunting but have too many guns and scopes to justify more.

@peterjc -- yeah. Can you maybe post a picture or something of that fishing thing on your scope? Where did you buy it, etc . . . ? That's my singular beef with the scope - you've got to be ( a young ) Arnold Schwarzenegger to turn that thing. {sigh} lol

They are called "Beakaway Nylon Coasters". Bought them from Amazon. You tighten up like a tie wrap and trim the ends which leaves a knob like in the pic below.

check it out -- I finally got around to unboxing and opening up my new BH scope that showed up a few days ago. I've got a new rifle inbound - supposed to be here on Friday - so I figured I may as well at least open this thing up and take a look at it as it's going on that gun. The guys @BH threw in a little bit of swag - a spiffy blackhound optics t-shirt. :) :)
