Just pulled the trigger on a Daystate Black Wolf with 28 inch barrel, anybody out there shooting slugs with this gun and what are you using?

I got 22 with 28” barrel and ordered 25 cal barrel 28”

You should call aoa and talk to them also verify what barrels you want - slug or pellet cause they have 1 for each projectile and they don’t necessarily play well with both pellets and slugs

Black wolf came in this week trying to get a good group at 50 yards, I anyone shooting 22 28” barrel and what pellets are you shooting?

I was under the impression that all 28" Blackwolf barrels were for slugs only. Or did you mean slugs but type "pellets"?

Also, have you done any tuning yet? My BW (23") came to me with the regulator set to 150, but I'm having a lot more luck with it all the way down at 100!

I thought that to that 28” but whey make a slug barrel too

Well, I learned something today. Are you sure of which barrel (twist rate) you have?

Slug barrels are 1-17 i think pellet barrels are 1-30. Turn your reg down to 100 bar and work up from there with your hammer wheel on max till you get to what you want for highest velocity then work around there for a fine tune

Not for quite some time, I've been told. I doubt anyone can say for sure though.

Get a long 10 mm socket and slowly loosen the air fill nozzle on the bottom of the gun.

Another 72 (pounds)... Sign me up! I do think the black wolf is a beautifully made airgun, just very surprised at the overall cost and the nickel and dime-ing of the customer on the backend.

The BW comes with a manual that includes very clear instructions on how to de-gas and change springs - no special tools required

While that tool exists, it is not for the Blackwolf and is a fairly specialized thing. Please read the description carefully before purchasing (or judging).
