Well I'm waiting on Midway as I have some cases, pellet pouches and some chamber lube I want. The guns were already on sale with other discounts to boot. I bought a %#$load of pellets from Airgun Depot at a tremendous discount... so now I'm waiting

I chronied my Red Ryder this morning and it was shooting 150fps. It had always shot that slow. I have had that one for at least 25 years and it was terribly slow right out of the box, but I didn't have a chronograph then. Anyway, 150fps was all the excuse I needed to go to WallyWorld and for $24.47 I got one that is shooting much, much faster. While I was there I got a Daisy 880 also. I don't know how much I am going to use the 880, but the Red Ryder is going to be used on cans and plastic drink bottles. So, that was my Black Friday nonsense. I rescued the dog biscuit cardboard box from the recycling bag and set it out at 15 yards and had a blast.

Yes, the after Christmas used market sale.

That said I did pull the trigger on the sale at Midway landing me a Hatsan Mod 90 Voertex .22 for $149.99. That's the good news. The bad news it it's on back order for a couple of weeks.

Just bought my grandson his first gun, a Daisy carbine, I thought the Red Rider would be a little big for him starting out. It's going to be a birthday gift on January 5th. He will turn 8 and I figured it's time! Anyboby want to bet he will forget about everything he got for Christmas? I can't wait to see the look on his face!

Well what I did was get a couple more scopes and some rings... I can always use those. Also bout parts for my 1377 that I will be working on, some on sale, some not ;- (

I did go to WalMart though and get a 1377 for $49.84 ; - )

Have a rifle coming in tomorrow and will work on that when it comes in ....I think I'm in love with the Hatsan 95's and the 125 Vortex guns .... my gosh .... some serious power !

Yeah, rub it in! I saw a Leftie in the classifieds that was calling me....but it was calling over the chasm of my inadequate bank account. But I'm saving for a nice rifle, it will come soon!
