Bit of a weird question

I know the laws in my country. Any scope that isn't night vision equipped or infrared in it is legal to own. Yet I am afraid that customs will confiscated the scope I got for no reason. It's a bit of a weird thing since when I check reviews for it, some people got it confiscated and some got it. Idk why they let them pass at times. I only got mine for my air rifle and definitely that only. I can provide a link

Does anyone know if this is in any way illegal to own according to what I mentioned?

I would suggest to talk to someone at the police station and ask. It's better to hear your answer straight from the horse's mouth. Years ago I was unclear what my state's laws were on night hunting; so I went over to game and fish and talked to a ranger. If customs tries confiscates your scope, you can inform them you had already talk to their boss.

The scope you posted has an illuminated reticle. So either you can’t own a scope with an illuminated reticle or customs doesn’t know the difference. Either way you made a good decision to contact them. I don’t know how it works in your country, but the United States considers customs officers as a federal officer and part of the Department of Homeland Security. The local police department has no jurisdiction over them concerning imported goods.
