I looked out my back door this afternoon and seen the most birds on the ground wandering around. I believe most of them were starlings and grackles. My first thought was target rich environment but then I wondered if they was eating bugs and maybe the bugs chewing the leaves off my young avocado tree and mango trees. Things that make you say Hmmm?

Even though I hate Starlings with a passion they do eat a huge amount of destructive bugs. But not sure if that outweighs the damage they do to our native birds so I kill everyone I get a chance to.
