Bipod mount ring for FX Dream Pup

I wanted to mount a bipod for my FX Dream Pup, but I didn’t want to drill holes on my stock. FX Does sell mounting rings for FX Wildcat that can be used for Dreamline (same cylinder diameter), but its out of stock everywhere. Luckily I found this mounting ring for FX Wildcat on eBay. Pics looked good, so I bought it.

It’s made out of a 3D printed plastic, but the quality is surprisingly good.

I applied fabric ends of a bandaid to protect the gun’s finish.

Fit is pretty nice on the cylinder, but I wasn’t able to clamp the bipod rail when I mounted it to the full length of the picatinny rail. I might have put too much fabric tape on the inner side, and made it too thick. I’m going to play around with fabric tape to fix that. If nothing works I plan to sand down the inner surface.

You'd think the maker would remove the print support material in the side rails. I make them thinner and without the barrel groove and side rails for a cleaner look.

Yeah, I noticed that one of the 3 picatinny rails had those support materials left in. Seller might have forgotten to cut them out before shipping it. Are you saying you make these, too? What you described is exactly what I wanted, but I haven't found anyone making them. I would buy it if you can make one for me. :) If not I was going to cut and sand down side rails if I get bored one day.

I'll PM you... can't sell in the open forum.
