Bipod help

So I got a cheep Atlas knockoff bipod. Basically it’s garbage. It keep coming loose at the tensioning wheel and is unreliable. I tried the oring modification and still no luck. It sucks!

Im going to get a new bipod. Other then Atlas what others do you guys recommend? 
I’m leaning towards the Atlas BT65-LW17

The UTG Recon is a nice step up from the Atlas knockoff and still rather inexpensive (~$55). Harris bipods are rock solid and time tested (~$100). The actual Atlas is top notch if you have three bills to spend.

@N89, try a 5/16" lock washer in there instead of the o-ring. The o-ring didn't work for me either but the steel lock washer works great!

The Atlas clone is workable if you are prepared to get some flat washers and place them as I have outlined in the bellow thread, for 2 dollars worth of washers its a winner, as a comparison to the original it does however pale...

In the clones defense, I have bought three and still haven't spent the cost of the original...

I had this issue also. I don't rotate the gun very much so it hasn't been much of a problem.
You can try to put Epoxy on the adjustment nut threads and installed the adjuster to the tightness you want. Or if you're really handy? You can drill a hole and add a grub screw?
I haven't been able to find any info on the difference in design between the green blob and the atlas? I'd like to see how does the Atlas solves this issue?
