Bintac quality

I love reading all the furor over AEA or Hatsan. I walk over grab one of those rifles put 100 rounds down range and wonder what those people did wrong. You would think between the 6 or so rifles that according to these experts are junk I would have encountered at least one of their described problems. Yet mine just keep plugging away.

I like 5 of 6 of my "junk" semi automatic rifles. The one I don't like, I dislike the type rather than some mechanical issue.

A lot of these issues are from the older aea guns. Notice the gen 1 terminators and old seni autos. The new aea guns are nice and wait till the ones drop at the end of this year.

I have 3 AEA guns Megalodon, challenger pro, HP SS and have had zerooo issues. I have a Hatsan blitz which cycles well and a GK1. I have had more issues with the GK1 but definitely not a lemon, pretty sure it was shooter error. I think with most Airguns you’ll have issues from time to time but I would not have a problem buying another AEA right now.

What is your opinion on the AEA Bin Tac M50 chambered in 51 caliber? I have been eye-balling the existence of that girl and was meditating on buying it. I don't believe half the hype I hear about any PCP air rifle. Pre-charged Pneumatic anything can be a pain in the arse. I have done a lot of research but user experience outweighs marketing hype or Status Quo opinions. Have you had any interaction with the M-50? If so, how's is the overall performance of the pistol? Any mods or techniques that you suggest while operating the pistol? Thanks for your time and information in advance!

I can’t comment on the m50 it’s kind of too big to use as a pistol for me. I do know that I have a suppressor on each of my AEA guns because they are LOUD. I’m thinking the 5” barrel would make it that much louder. I think since it’s bolt action you won’t have as many of the issues others talk about with this gun because there are fewer internals to worry about. I like the fact that you can put a stock on the m50. I think for the price of the m50 you really can’t go wrong. Also, if you have problems I’ve heard Bin is super chill and helpful, but again, I have never had the need to reach out for repair. If you’ll look at gripes on AEA/bin tac they seem to be older threads and my thought is they’ve probably stepped up their QC. Also, check classified ads. You don’t see the m50 for sale there, people like and keep them…. You’ll see a boatload of FX products and far fewer AEA/ Bintac items. Good luck on your purchase…. Safe shooting! One last note check out macabeespeed on YT. Great info

Absolutely agree. I will check it out. I'm going to buy that Bin Tac M-50. I have some cool ideas for it, anyway. Thanks for the information.
