!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BIGRAGU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HEY !!! AUGIE CALL THE PATIENT REPRESENTATIVE. Dial 0 and tell the operator you need to talk to the Patient Representative They are ON staff TO REPRESENT YOU LIKE A UNION STEWARD. 1st thing you tell em is you are tired of wetting yourself cause they took your catheter out and the rods in your back that run from your hip to the bottom of your skull make it impossible to pee into the D#^N bottle plus the pain makes any movement of your body next to impossible. Next demand clean dry sheets. THEN hit that patient REP WITH THE REST OF THAT SPECIAL CARE YOU'VE NOT BEEN GETTING. NOW BE AS NICE TO THE PATIENT REP AS YOU ARE ABLE. THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO REPRESENT YOU AND YOUR NEEDS. ALSO HIT UP THE CHAPLAIN who should be able to help at least to reach the Patient REP. I Wish I were close enough to stand on some one foot till they understand what you need. I spent 26 days in the bed before pain pumps, didn't always get fed cause pain meds make it impossible to fill out the meal request form. When I could finally use crutches to get to my toilet the nurses who made my bed with me in it kept putting my crutches out of my reach and so did the janitors, plus not enough nurses on staff so I often waited 30 - 60 minutes longer to get them. One day the chaplain asked me how I was and I told him, got to see the patient REP things got better QUICK. SORRY AUGIE I was so mad after I read the first few sentences you wrote, I wrote out this speel. Well just check you bills and make sure the hospital doesn't add anything to your bill Like an extra day stay cause they lost 3 days pay since you voted with your "feet" and left and same with the doc's bill. I'm Really Glad You are being taken care of like you should be. They really can't let a spinal surgery be in too much pain 'cause you'll move to try and comfort yourself. That's not a good thing. I hope you can call on a couple of big guys to get you into the house or perhaps an ambulance ride with 2 trained people to move you from the trans sport to the bed. You Know from before just the ride in a vehicle will exhaust you, that and the pain. Please, please make sure you are really ready and able before you use that walker. NO FALLS PLEASE. My pain wasn't as bad as yours but I had no strength when I arrived home

Thanks, GB, and if I would’ve known all those services available from the first hospital, I’d have went that route. Over at this rehab facility, where I go thru 3 to 4 hours of occupational and physical training daily, they are great here. My wife is going to give both the day and night shift crew staff a large box of Sees nuts and chews on Thursday when she picks me up, as a token of appreciation.
