Good luck, hopefully have speedy recovery. I was in your shoes a year ago- I had major surgery last year, was in hospital for 11 days. I was critical for awhile-

Please take your time and heal up right. We aren’t in our 20’s anymore. Be patient throughout the healing process. We are all here to BS with until the doc gives you the green light.

Best of luck. Had a couple surgeries in the last few years. Doc was great at keeping the pain away, hope your doc does it as well.

I've appreciated the correspondence we've had, perhaps you might have the energy and wear with all to read the forum in a few days and improve your days of recovery with our good wishes and prayers. So agter tge syrgeon frees up the bone, he’s remobing an old school bone cadaver fusion at C3-C4 froma fusion back in 1998. After all that is done, itspull the head back(to correct the cervical curve to normal) and anchor the spine in place with titanium rods and anchors that have holes for the rods to slip thru. Tightened up with grub screws. Inch lb torque, ha ha!
Getting PCP type hardware in me- yay!!!
Here’s my rock, whose so familiar with all of this as this will be my 9th surgery into my spine. Tough chick!
EDIT- I’m gonna see if my surgeon does plaster surgery on the side and have him perform eyelid excision! Holy crap! Droopy a$$ eyelids!!no wonder I can’t get 1/4” groups at 10 yards!!

I hope this surgery provides you relief. Augey is one tough SOB to live with the injuries body building brings us. I regret not sticking with cycling.
