Big hog

Was fortunate to be able to get out for groundhogs tonight. I was anxious for some longer shots, since members here were able to guide me in properly setting up my scope for 100 yard shots. 

As luck would have it I spotted a big hog just off the driveway on my way in. I wasted no time in getting the gun ready and walking to a good spot to shoot from.

My shot was 91 yards and right on its mark! Thanks to all those that guided me with shimming the scope.

I used the JSB Diabolo Exact 15.89 grains. Not the hollow points, just the regular domed pellets. I've tried others, but none shoot better out of this gun. Proof is in the pudding, shot placement is everything - and a little luck!

The missing tuft of hair to the right of the ear was a second shot from the same distance. It wasn't needed but I wanted to make sure he was DRT. A part of me didnt believe I made the shot from a sitting position without the bipod. Just goes to show how accurate these guns really are.
