My Texan .45 is loud, so I bought a shroud to muffle it. But the db meter reads nearly the same for unshrouded or shrouded barrel,...117.4 to 116.7.
i have ordered another shroud from a different manufacturer, but no one seems to believe the sound measuring devices. How then, does one determine the sound level of an airgun?
