BeWare...! USPS Priory Mail is delaying a lot of packages ....

Late to the bashing, but so far, so good. We had notably good service form USPS, UPS, and FexEx. We don't live in areas of extreme weather during this time and haven't ordered from anywhere that has (got lucky).

I ordered an air rifle Wednesday evening, it arrived Saturday. Christmas was in between. Got a wallet out of Washington state and it was here in a few days, earlier than expected. 

The rule of this time of year is to think ahead, way ahead. People seem to forget that and most seem to have good luck with it. Hope everything arrives in good order, even if it's a little late.

Definitely a regional thing. Our problem here is Baltimore. , everything here goes through Baltimore. Evidently Baltimore is like quicksand. .Even before this problem, we had a couple pieces of regular mail took 6 weeks to go 20 mile/next town via 100 mile detour to Baltimore. USPS needs ramped up to the times, & I guess they will be. Not like a total private business that can shift on the fly. Will take an act of congress to start a fix. Happy Shooting..

In case you don't know, the delivery dates for UPS and USPS are now only guaranteed if you ship Next Day Air or certified mail. Even before COVID, USPS didn't guarantee 2-3 day priority mail. USPS delivers most of Amazon's packages and now that a lot of people are shopping online. USPS is overwhelmed. They are hiring people just to deliver packages. My local PO will hire anyone who can pass a drug test. Take a ride to your nearest PO main office at 6 in the morning and see how many semis are parked in the back. Every one of them is filled with packages to be delivered. There is no way all of them will get delivered without a delay. Order online knowing that you will have to wait a little longer and don't stress out. UPS and FEDEX have been delivering faster here.
