Bets way to plug a barrel?

What is the best way to plug a barrel? I am going to Blue it and don't want any bluing inside the barrel...

A small dab of Silicone seal works too. Easy to remove after dry..

Oh, I like the earplug idea. Didn't thik about that. The silicon sounds good too, I have some laying around.
