Best way to mark focus wheel

I have a new Aztec Emerald FFP scope coming in. Even though I have several great side focus wheel scopes I have never taken the time to mark yard indicators on them. What is the best way to do this?

i do it really simple. cut a strip of paper and attach with a glue stick. mark yardages by hand. when satisfied cover with a strip of clear tape. never could figure out the computer generated tapes.

Narrow electrical tape. 

You have seen it.

Four rolls in the electrical section of hardware.

Mark it with pencil until you are satisfied then maybe pen.

I used some peel and stick ruler tape on my sidewheel and marked it by hand at each yard.

Sharpie or similar markers/pens will dry eventually. I use a piece of scotch tape over it to ensure that doesn't happen.

A Dymo label maker (or similar) using white color and small font with a dash on either side then cut the individual numbers put them in their place and cover the whole with a strip of clear tape.
