Best suppressor for Tex Rex .457

I do not know much about suppressors, and was wondering what would be the best suppressor to buy for my Tex Rex .457? Thanks in advance!!
If your not caring about Length, go with the donny fl great kami. It is 14 inches long but it will withstand the greater air blast being it has thicker baffles. It's a 18x1 thread and donny's recommendation is to have your barrel threaded. I am in the process of trying a different route but still in the testing process of a custom clamp on with threads.

I tend to lean towards the kami as well if length is not an issue. It is built tougher than the ronin/emporer like cheetos was saying. I like the ronin and the emporer, but at 1000 fpe you might want the extra durability. If you need it to be as short as possible then I prefer the ronin, but id call donny and discuss what the best option is. He might end up telling you for your power level the ronin/emporer wont hold up long term. If you are running a mild tune (500-600 fpe), and length matters more than being the quietest, then the ronin or emporer both work well at taking the noise level down and saving some length. It all depends on what more important to you, length vs sound level vs overall durability.

I would say a donnyfl emperor if you want it to make a big difference. Something shorter won't work as good. I have a ronin and emperor.
@Dstrac I am trying to go a little short. I do not need it to make the biggest difference! I had a Witt Machine muzzle break on my original Texan and it worked wonders for accuracy! I'm looking for a little suppression with tighter groups!

@cheetos I am actually looking for something a little shorter. I do not want to thread my barrel either, lol!! Witt machine makes a screw on adapter but I am not sure if it will work. I posted a thread asking if anyone thought would work but got no replies... They do a lot of custom work and I am sure they would customize the thread pitch as needed!!

@Nealgl1985 I think I am going to take your advice and contact Donny. The durability is an absolute must in my book!!!!

@Ezana4CE I am not exactly sure what a custom shroud is, or a shroud at all for that matter,lol... Would you mind explaining?
@Poke-E As I understand a shroud, it is essentially tube that encases the barrel. I’m not going to try to explain in detail beyond that because I’m not too knowledgeable on how sound moderation in guns work. Some shrouds do seem to help mitigate sound by interacting with the flow of air upon a shot, some contain baffles. You may have seen a shroud on the Texan SS models.

@Ezana4CE I see!!!! I will talk to my machinist and see!! Something like that may very well work, Thanks again bro!!

@Poke-E No worries. We can both learn something here. Here is an article on how barrel shrouds work.

I actually looked at that too but unfortunately the size of the caliber slug wouldn't work in my situation being it's a small caliber thread unless you call them to see if they would do something different in threads. I am trying the donny fl adapter in #a-71, the only thing I am doing differently is that i used a 10/32 tap and drill set on the adapter so there's more holding power on the barrel. Just am waiting on the 10/32 1/8 set screws to arrive.
