Best speed for 25.39gr .25 cal JSB pellets?

I have asked this before but I always forget. 

I need to tune a Taipan for 25.39gr JSB in .25 caliber.

do those go 950 FPS? 890? / 920?

i always had the best luck in my dreamline at 880-900 - the standard diabolo speeds.

I think it varies with the gun too. One variable that could factor in is barrel twist rate.

Oh, it's CZ barrel. Not sure the twist rate. I'll do 890 and see how it shoots. Tuning now at 4 a.m.

I hope you will find they are very forgiving with fps. I did.

I believe it is difficult to say as it is gun/barrel dependent.

i think the general consensuses is 880-900 fps but again that is barrel dependent. start low and go up in velocity.

I'm a bit late to this particular party but FYI, .25 Hades in my 700mm superior fx barrel at 975fps sub moa at 50m. All the other diabolos' under 900.

There's something about that 700mm superior liner, my .25 fx impact M3 loves the 34g jsb king heavy mk2 pellets going at 960fps out of that one. Not tried the hades at that speed out of the 700mm liner but I do know it loves going at 890fps.

I know this is an old post, but I just came across it. I am shooting a Priest 2, and it is shooting lights out, at an average of around 840 fps, with that same pellet.

About 900 fps is a pretty good ballpark for most pellets I've found some work a tad faster other have to be a tad slower
