Best speed .25 hades?

What’s everyone shooting these .25 hades at for best accuracy? With the .22 hades in my leshiy, I’m getting 1/2” groups at 45yds with these things only going 750fps. When I shot them out of my high power .25 guns, they seemed less so. I’ve read here of people shooting them at upwards of 960fps with great accuracy, but I’m not seeing it. The king heavies LOVE speed, but so far not the hades. What’s that magic number everyone’s using for hades?

My impact loves them at 850fps in .25. Im sure more speed would make them more accurate to a point. My tune is for a good mix of accuracy and shot count.

That’s what I’m kinda looking for. I would like to shoot the hades at min and be able to dial up for king heavies, or something similar. 850 might be kind of low for doing that kind of setup, but if they’re accurate, I can look past that. Lol.

what do you have your reg set at to get these low speeds? I’m currently at 115-120 on reg, and hammer is backed down almost all the way, but it has a pretty heavy hammer weight in it, so doesn’t need much preload to get fast speeds.

Had them from 450 FPS all the way to 900fps and all accurate even down range. Best seems to be between 800-860fps. Accuracy is barrel and tune dependent though, which gun are you having issues with? Can the same gun shoot them at 800FPS accurately? If so it could be the tune.

also keep in mind Hades have much lower BC compared to heavy(.026 vs .036) even though they are basically heavies with some cut out so wind will affect it noticeably more, if there is any wind at all it may appear that heavies are more accurate. Heavies love 820-860fps but they tolerate higher speed well, they don’t love higher speed. So with same shape the hades should and do love the same speed range.

Then why do you need 900+ FPS? It sounds cool but after 880fps there is diminishing return with any additional speed. You waste air and lose accuracy, even with slugs I don’t really shoot them all that hot.

There is no reason to be above 900. Honestly, it’s how the gun was tuned when I got it, and I didn’t want to mess with it until absolutely having to. It shot heavies so well, and then I tried jsb knockouts, and they were just as good. I just couldn’t get hades to group, and I wanted to use them primarily in this gun for pesting purposes. There’s also no reason I’m using hades in it. Just wanted to see if I could get them to group as well as the heavies without going crazy on the tune. Ideally, like I said before, I’d like to shoot the hades on min, and the heavies on max without doing anything but turn the dial. If this is feasible, it would be my ideal time as long as I can get good groups with both out to max 75yds. If this isn’t feasible, I’ll stick to the heavies for now, and use the hades in my wildcat that’s accurate with every thing I’ve put through it so far.

that being said, the wildcat is a 600mm superior, and the impact I'm playing with is 500mm superior, so they’re different animals.

Shot group was 8 rounds in nickel size hole at 40y.

My .25 wildcat (tuned by bigragu) shoots the hades exactly like that also. This is why I was asking about speeds. My wildcat is 600mm superior barrel, and shoots them lights out. My impact is .25 500mm superior barrel, and the don't group at all from speeds 930-1002. It’s probs let the impact tune, and not the pellet.

There’s a reason yours and Coyote God’s wildcats shoot near exact, in speeds and accuracy, ha ha!
