Best soft or hard case for a 45-55" scoped airgun?

What case do you love that will swallow up a 45-55" scoped airgun with a focus whee, bipod, monopod and bulky butt stock?

I like a soft case for a single loaded up rife but not the ones with bulky secondary exterior pouches hanging off of it or hiking strap ether

I have a nice clean Pelican but wonder what you have concluded after years of experience

Bang for your buck, check out Harbor Freight.

I own SKB and they cover damage to case AND contents. They sent me a free replacement after Southwest Airline broke the case. Rife was ok but covered to $5000.00 if memory serves.

I’m a Storm Case guy. Since Pelican bought Storm Case a while back, now I’m a Pelican man. Checkout the iM3200 for a longer gun and the iM3100 for a shorter gun. I also have a nice Pelican Air 1745 which would be great for a dual gun case. I’m the type that likes to buy once and cry once but buy quality.

Pelican Vault Series, with the foam cut to fit everything like a glove. It holds the gun and gear stable and doesn't stress the scope or barrel.

Thank you. I marked the gun with a silver foam longneck marker from Amazon. Then I cut it out with a very sharp pocket knife. The foam is Kaiden foam. I also put blue “tool box drawer” liner under the foam to give it so color.

What's the height of your scoped rifle in this case, I believe this case is 11" high?

Goldwing - Kinda depends on how you measure it. Scope is the Centerpoint 4-16 with the 56mm bell on front. Case clears the turret by about 1/8 inch.

The case comes with the foam in the rear and in the middle and the two velcro straps. The strap and foam in the rear really hold it down and upright very well. I keep the front strap very loose, just enough to keep the gun from coming up if it gets bumped.

I have only one soft case.The main reason i bought it was, to transport it when i take the 4 wheeler. I would rather have it strapped to my back then being jarred around by the rough terrain.I did have a hard time finding one that fit with high scope rings. My avenger in 25 cal fits with a moderator but my challenger 35 big bore,, not so much. It's a cheap one but it works for me. It's a MB SXOWBMB amazon it comes in 44/48/52'.
