For me it was 43.5gr Nielsens and the few 67gr casted that I had. I was shooting 12oz cans 1/4 mile with the former with my MKII (hitting more than I missed lol)

Depends on what your want your slugs to do.. I shoot mine with pest control in mind.. Most shots I take are in the 40-60 yard range, but some stretch out to 120 range. I currently have an FX impact with slug liner in .25 shooting LEAD FIST slugs 34 grain at 880-900fps, and man are they are DEVASTATING. I think much more than the JSB Hades in .25 ... Here is a pic of a slug that i pulled from a clay block at 45- yards,,, I highly recommend them for pest control.... I do have a whole line of slugs NSA and Griffin rangingn from 29 gr to 36 gr that I need to do more testing with.. More to come on that.
