Best slug and speed in Vulcan 3 .22?

I’m testing various .22 slugs in my V3 700 with Alfa precision barrel. I’m currently shooting 27 gr Zan and 27 grain H&N .218 slugs at 930 fps.

I’m planning to try 34 grain next and would like to hear what others are using.

Maybe reach out to Derrick @zx10wall I know Derrick loves the Vulcan 3 and has tuned a few of them to shoot slugs very well.

AVS slugs _ ask steve what he is using, he has that exact gun. I'd shoot it at 950FPS.

The best I’ve found and I’ve tested a lot;

1) Varmint Knockers .218 34gr ~ 1010 fps
2) AVS .2183 34gr ~ 1010 fps
3) H&N .218 and Zans .218 about the same.

There can be only one though and I chose the best in my bore which was the VKs.

Did you try avs .2193 30gr some saying the group the best
