I like the hold of the Hawke scope mounts. Besides low or medium rise, which I use mostly to replace all the scope mounts on my rifles. And is it just me, or does Hawke make Centerpoint's scope mounts? They look the same...except for the gussets Hawke machines into the caps. Here's my 760 variant 1 I restomodded. The Simmons 4x32 scope sits on Hawke low-rise Weaver mounts on 2 1/2" MOE picatinny rails.

Question for you Joe. Are the mil-dots on those Hawke scopes accurate? I shoot a 4x Hawke and I love it dearly but the mil dots were likely made for a 10x scope. So they are roughly 2.5 mil dots. But even then they don't really work right. They are just dots. Pretty much useless. But I love every other thing about the scope. Focus, hold up to recoil, clarity etc. Are very good.
