Best scop for a .25 FX Impact

I have an Aztec Emerald 5-25x50 ffp on my impact and I really like it. Gets a little blurry at highest magnification but other then that it’s perfect for me. I also have an Athlon ARGOS 6-24x50 ffp gen 2 on my dreamline tactical and that one is good to. Lots of people on here rave about the Athlon midas tac. That one is next on my list to try.

In my opinion 24x or 32x is WAY to much magnification for hunting, you'll probably be able to see the squirrel's or birds heart beat in the scope. I have an Athlon FFP 4-16x on my Impact and it's a great all around scope. The 4x is easy to quickly find your target and if you have a stable rest and the time then the 16x gets me plenty of accuracty at 100 yards.

Thank's for the replies I use it for hunting mostly shooting some slugs if I ever get my liner for it. Would the 6 x 24 x 50 be better then the 8 x 34 x 56.

6-24 is fine. I have Nightforce NX8, but many good lower price options. For instance, Vortex Viper PST Gen ll with EBR-7C reticle, which you can find on Amazon. Warne makes a good one piece 20MOA mount. Take your time, make sure it’s a keeper.

I have a Athlon Ares BTR Gen2 4.5-27x50 on my Impact.

It's a gun/scope that I don't plan on close range hunting with, like inside 25Y. It's great for nearly everything else one could use a rifle like this for.

I'd personally go for a 3-15 or 4-16 SFP scope for close range hunting along with other general airgun applications.

Hard to find a "one scope does all well" and it's hard for us to guess on the budget you have in mind.

Almost always more pleasing to "not cheap out" when it comes to rifle scopes!

I've been running the Hawke Sidewinder FFP 6-24 X 56 and am loving it. I do have my eye on the new Element Optics though.
