Best Rest Ever

This is my setup for my pcp

I haven't used one but I doubt it is the best for what I like to do - shooting the 30 yard competition. Kind of benchrest shooting. I do it with a bipod in front and a monopod in back. Quite steady but I have to shift it between shots to avoid wanting to lean on the gun and mess up my follow through. A joystick rest should fix this for me. Caldwell offers one, the "fire control". Comes either one piece or just a front rest. But I am pretty sure a "SEB" is better - at several times the cost. But if this rest works for you then it could be the best one for you and what you use a rest for.

I have one of these Caldwell turrets. It is a lot sloppy on the elevation wheel. I wrapped the threads for the elevation wheel with a few wraps of pipe thread tape. That small change made the turret a whole lot more stable. The only other issue I have is that the BR gun I have is barrel heavy and stock light. It tends to want to droop forward. My .22lr gun loves the turret.

Shoot'em good!
