Best Quick Loader for FX Impact Sideshot Magazine

Has anyone tried any of the numerous magazine quick loaders out there? In addition to the "Field Pro" model I've found three additional quick loaders on ebay.

I think an very important feature of any loaders would be how they provide for that "1st anchor pellet." Looks like most have you taking the top off the quick loader, exposing all the pellets to possible loss as you try and pick out the single anchor pellet. One maker had a good idea where the quick loader cover stays in place as you rotate the cover to expose the single anchor pellet and drop it into your hand.

Anyway... I'd appreciate hearing about your experiences with the different makers of quick loaders.

I am always confused with the term "quick loader" here, it isn't it's simply a decanting device isn't it? taking as much time to load as the original mag in the first place.

So in theory the only advantage to it is cost saving VS taking half a dozen factory mags with you?

Just how much does an FX mag cost in the USA now?

About $70 for a brand new mag, and that’s the FX version of the side shot mags. Original Side shots are $120+.

The great thing about these speed loaders is they are inexpensive enough to have, say, 5 of them all preloaded for a day out plinking or hunting, or have all five pre loaded with each different styles, weights of pellets, or even slugs. If you do it like ACRUZ did with the ELIS5173 loaders, what He did was have them custom labeled for type of ammo, by color and engraving.

Dont confuse the effort of loading the single FX mag vs having speed loaders already preloaded. It’s a time saver, it truly is, especially with how little time some of us have to enjoy this sport due to life’s obligations. Yes, we still have to load the speed loaders, one at a time, just like the competitive pistol enthusiasts and law enforcement folks do with their magazines, but I guarantee they’re using speedloaders to do so.

I recently got three speed loaders from ELIS5173. Fantastic product. It’s so easy to pick up the anchor slug from the loader. Great service too.
These loaders have saved me considerable time when tuning my Impact for the right slugs, which as many know can be very time consuming.

The magnets hold the cover in place with sufficient force. Have not once had an accidental spill in the field. Yet still easy to open. Brilliant.

Eli’s is actually truly a brilliant guy. He fears nothing when I comes to 3D. I’m hiring him to recreate the no longer available barrel cover for an 850 Beeman that I’m servicing for my neighbor. It’s not a matter of “if” he can make it, it’s “when” is it arriving to my place, lol.

Currently I’m testing out a vented baffle system for him, and if successful, it will cause many to flood the classifieds with used moderators the size of paint cans, ha ha.
