Best Pellet For Benjamin Marauder 22

What's the most accurate pellet generally for the Marauder 22? Currently shooting H&N Barracuda Hunters 18.21 grains and JSB Jumbo Heavy Diablos 18.13 grains.

Thinking of trying some Predator Polymags. Not getting the groups expected!

Both of those are good...5.52 & 5.53mm

Gonna try some Crosman premiers next. She used to get hole on a hole at 25 yards, don't know what happened.

H&N FTT 5.53 5.54, JSB and AA 15.9 18.1, Crosman CPHP (YEA THE CHEAP WALMART ONES), Crosman Field Hunting Pointed 14.3, Barracuda Match 5.52 5.53.

If your rifles doesn't like any of these then send it back to Crosman for Warranty or get a Lothar Walther barrel for it.

FYI The Crosman Premier Domes may not necessarily shoot better than the CHEAP CPHPs FYI...

In many instances the CPHPs were more accurate.

I have the gen 2 - 1/2 to 3/4 groups at 40 yrds. for 5 to 10 shots using crosman premiers 14.3s . Best of luck Darell

Have you run it over the chrony and fixed your pesky leak?

Is the Transfer Port set properly with no blowby when shot?

Have you tried single loading your pellets for accuracy?

Have you cleaned your barrel too well? It may require 50-60 shots

to season the barrel before you start to get decent accuracy again.

Before you jump to new pellets, have you adjusted the gun? I've found in my .22 Marauder it likes the JSB 18.3's at about 830fps or so. Gives nice groups at 75 yards, but nothing really worked till I setup the Chrony and did some general testing and adjusting.

CA's recommendation of cleaning the barrel is good as well, you just never know, and yes, it does take 50 plus shots to get accuracy back after cleaning, but don't ask me why.

also, look at the magazine to make sure it's not clipping pellets. As good as the mag's are, sometimes that happens. Hajimoto has an excellent video showing how to clean up a Gauntlet magazine, which is the same design and I believe will fit a Marauder. The cleanup virtually eliminated the pellet clipping.
