Best O-Rings for Mags & Fill Probes

I want to put in an order for O-Rings for both my Kalibrguns and my Taipan. Magazine & Fill Probes only. Doing a little research I see a lot of recommendations for Buna....but, I think that's what I have on my guns, and they don't last very long at all. Living in the South, the sun and heat eat through them rather quickly. I am looking on The O-ring Store's website and I see that there may be better options. Urethane specifically are listed specifically as used in Airguns. I don't expose them to chemicals, except for probably a little Ballistol or perhaps a little Silicone Grease.

Please advice if you have good knowledge on the subject. I don't mind paying a little more for a quality product that I do not have to replace so often. Thanks!

I have a much harder time 5plugging the fill probe into the gun with longer lasting urethane O-rings and most times experience blowby and have to manually hold the fill probe into the gun in order for it to not leak or pop out while filling. I would just use lightly lubed rubber OEM same with the magazine's so the pellets don't get squashed by the harder O-rings. Just buy yourself an O-ring pick and keep your spare O-rings in a cool place..

@houli Thanks bud. I’m thinking that those o-rings lasting thousands or rounds are internal? The ones I’m looking at are just the Magazine & the Fill Probe. I go through those due to environmental factors & the constant friction they are subjected to. They end up cracking & leaking (fill probe) or not holding the pellets in place (magazine) I ended up with the 70s in bulk, so we shall see. Thanks again.

Actually, most the internal orings I have found to work best is in fact Buna 70 hardness. The 90 hardness I speak of were to replace the softer orings found on the older Edgun Matadors pellet probes, who knows what was those orings were made of coming out of Russia back then. If going through probe orings I suggest trying Buna dura 90 orings with a very light divers grease (silicone). Perhaps check for burrs, may be as simple as a little polishing, though I have a suspicion you know or already done this. I do have some smaller 90 buna orings, what size is your probe orings.
