I've got a 25 Sumo that is on my 22 Nova and it is super quiet & was thinking about going that way but wanted to get some opinions from folks who know now that I picked up a 25 cal Avenger.

I would suggest a smaller one like the koi or Tanto as bigger ones make it difficult to fill the rifle. DonnyFL also has an adapter for it that extends it a little.

Have you already tried the generic white scotch brite sushi wrapped around 2 semi weak springs separated by a washer stuffed in the shroud trick yet?

I have not, but Avenger Scotchbrite sushi sounds Rube Goldberg enough to have my attention.

Be sure to use the non abrasive generic (probably white or tan) cheap Scorchbrite type pads.

I just installed a GEO silencer in my liberty and it made it very quiet. It replaces the barrel bushings and has a air stripper. It extends the shroud and the spacer has vent holes built in. I'm very satisfied with it especially since it's only$25 .
By the way, my liberty has been extensively modded and is cranking 48.5 for shooting a 30 grain cast slug and it's still very quiet.
