Best looking gun !

In my opinion and it is just mine, none of these super modern pcp types, big tanks, bullpups, bright laminated stocks ect, ect are good looking, in fact I find them rather ugly, I can see where some are very functional like that aluminum stocked Anschutz. I like a traditional styled stock with good wood. Call me a traditionalist, to the extreme.
But , but we love our airguns , and beauty is in the eye of the , or was that lead dust.lol.

Well maybe next time as I read the post I realized that others already asked , but you can see how much we like to learn , and your work is absolutely gorgeous. OV.
Thanks OV!

Like a comfortable pair of shoes, I feel that a properly fitting gun stock is important so I've been modifying gun stocks since I was a fast-growing teenager.

It's not difficult to make a custom stock if you have access to some basic tools and a decent table saw.

The best thing is to start with construction lumber to practice and learn before going to expensive hardwoods.

I wrote a 6 part how-to guest blog for PA if you want to try making your own stock. Here's a link to Part 6 that has links to the rest of the blog.

Cheers!

I love traditional looking Airguns. Have a few. Among them I absolutely adore my Daystate Huntsman Revere, Blackwolf, FX DRS PRO MDT, Huben K1 Limited Edition, JTS Airacuda, Altaros M24 and BSA CLX Compact :)
What's the farthest shot you have made with M24 , and could you post some pics OldVet loves to see pics of nice airguns like all these.

Hello OV, I got the M24 from CZ back in November last year in .25 with their silencer and slugs as it’s basically a slug barrel. They make the best slugs I have ever used. Matter of fact they hold at least 4 world records. Nobody makes slugs that can come close to their accuracy or BC.

The farthest I have personally shot that rifle is 660 yards at a 18” ballon using Element Theos Scope with absolutely nothing touched basically out of the box.

It's hard to beat the beauty of a nicely figured walnut stock so rather than post more walnut I'll go for something a little different. 🤪

I got a bit carried away with this maple and yew stock I made for my AR20. Being custom fitted, form does follows requirements very closely while allowing for some "artistic license".

Cheers!

Clicking a like button just isn't enough sometimes . There is so much I really love about the wood work ! I retired after spending years working with wood , but nothing like this. The piece in front of the trigger really appealed to me as it reminds me of an 880 and the rest is beauty. I love wood no doubt but I love stunning wood work even more and its made to function nicely.

Loren said it's Butternut and Mexican rosewood. He does awesome work. I just dropped in and put the bolts in. It fits so close it's like it's glassbedd. The rifle shot great in the chassis but honestly I think it shoots better in this stock!
