Best IR Illuminator for a Rifle?

I got the X-Sight 4K and I am looking for a good affordable (or not) IR light that has a beam you can focus like a mag light...allowing you to reach out long distances if you want too. I saw an airgun video once where the guy had found a good light like that after trying a few...but I can't find it now. One that is gun mountable would be best (not a hand held).

Please post your thoughts on good IR beams for a night vision scope. Light strengths and stats would also be helpful as I know nothing about those.

Thanks -Nate

Not tried many the Yukon scope comes with a built in illuminator that runs on two double A batteries. They will last about two hours of full time operation. I was one of the first to try the Wicked Lights 403Z this is a variable power one or two battery rechargeable unit. The bulbs are interchangeable with white, red, green, and they added an IR choice in both 850 and the 9.. something There is a pressure sensitive switch that goes hi, med, low, and intermittent when using the non IR bulbs. When using IR bulbs the unit only works with the high, or single power. The zoom is the greatest feature, for all of my uses I have never felt the need to hook up the extended tube with the second battery. A shooting buddy has the older Photon with an onboard illuminator, with the 403 mounted on one of the guns in wide mode it lights up about 40 feet at 25 yards. The same light using the tightest zoom will shoot around a 6 foot circle at 200 yards using a white light, and will light up a stop sign in excess of 600 yards.
