Tuning Best grease for piston seal

Putting a new seal in my HW95. What’s the best grease to use on the piston and the sides of the seal. I’ve have some moly silicone and some of the tar grease but is there anything better to use.

i have a jar of this but not sure if it would work good or if something better is out there.

Springer lubricants seem to be equal parts science and witchcraft with some VERY strong opinions and beliefs. Your mileage may very but, I have been very happy with Sta-Lube Moly Graph. It works well for both the plastic seal and any metal to metal contacts and is designed for high pressure applications where detonation needs to be avoided. I avoid tars that have a tendency to harden over time as they dry since they can become a cement and cause other issues. As with any shmoo in a springer, less is best.

You can read about it here.

Yamaha Yamalube also works great if you prefer not to have the Graphite in the carrier.
