Best Grease for Air Guns?

Any good silicone base/synthetic grease is ok...
A Very high flash point is a must.... that is why silicone base is recommended.
I also use Krytox... but expensive
But Any Petroleum base grease is a No-No!!!

I had one member on the old AirgunAdvice site ask about what grease to use on his stirrup pump.
I suggested the same lubes mention above...
Well he laugh it off and use some sort of axle grease...
So his next message, he posted a photo of a sheared off neck of his bsa bottle.
As he was pumping up his bottle, he heard a POP!
Well the grease ignited and blew off the threaded section of the Bottle!
Ouch

I imagine the optimal lube will depend precisely on the materials you are using it on.

That said, do any of you know what Parker o-ring lube is? It's apparently some kind of barium petroleum grease, but I don't know exactly what it is made of. I've been using it on my low-pressure o-rings, like fuel line quick-connectors (motorcycle). Not certain how appropriate it would be for higher pressure applications.
