Best ear protection?

So I got these moldable ones for the inserted ear protection for now. And I also ordered an MSA Sordin Supreme Pro X headset.

i think the combination of the two and I’ll be all set, if I need to hear people and can’t hear with the inner one I can always remove the inner. 
I really don’t want them have ear issues, I’ve a friend who had to see a specialist for just a consult for his ear and it was almost $800

If someone suggests better protection is out there just let me know, I don’t mind spending more if something better is out there in terms of protection

Foam plugs covered with earmuffs at the indoor range. Just the foam plugs if shooting outdoors.
